What
is Imagine What?
No
one really knows. Not even me, even though I probably should. Oh
well, it's not like it's really important. It's not like it will
affect the rest of my life in any way. I figure I should probably
tell someone what the plan is for this site, but instead I'll leave
it up to you, the reader to decide for yourself. I figure that because
my diabolical teachers have done that to me I am somehow entitled
to screw you, the reader, over and not tell you what is going on.
In
the development of Imagine What, Inc., I thought about many possible
schemes that I could use hear. It all started in 7th grade [Man,
that was 5 years ago... Seems like forever. In a way it is, after
all, that is just under a third of my entire life.] when one of
my friends showed us a graphic he made . It was called Insane Entertainment,
and I immediately got jealous. You see, I had a superiority complex
then, and I believed that I could do anything that someone else
could do. I even believed that I could be better than anyone if
I really tried. That didn't work out so good, but it did cause me
to come up with Imagine What. In the beginning, both Insane and
Imagine What were both acronyms for something weird. I remember
that Insane had something to do with nasal entertainment. Or was
it nuclear? I can't remember. In any case, it was snappy and funny,
and I decided I needed to emulate it. I came up with Imagine What.
I don't remember exactly what the name stood for, but it had something
to do with magazines, nasal entertainment, and wacky hats. It was
not nearly as good as Insane, but it had merits. About three years
later, I managed to develop a web site for Imagine What, and I reworked
the name a little. The site was never "finished," but
it showed accomplishment. After that year, I had almost no free
time, and let the site take a back seat to homework. Now, I have
high quality website- and image-editing software, so I can finally
do the things I wanted to do. (I use Dreamweaver and Photoshop,
by the way.) I couldn't function with Frontpage and MS Paint.
So
here I am, finally back in the game. Maybe this time I'll play.
